Privacy Policy

Reme (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for the personal data described below. For privacy questions or requests under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, contact privacy@remehub.com.

• Account data: the email address you sign in with. We use email one-time codes — no passwords stored.
• Property data you enter: building, unit, bedrooms, area, purchase price and date, mortgage details, rental contracts, expenses. Everything in this category is typed by you. We never auto-fill financials.
• Documents you upload: receipts (for expenses), tenancy contracts, property documents. Stored privately, only you can see them.
• OCR usage:when you tap “Snap a receipt”, we send the image to our AI provider (Anthropic) to extract the vendor / amount / date. We log token-counts per user per day to control costs — we do not retain the image content beyond the extraction.
• Analytics: aggregate usage events (page views, button clicks) via PostHog, and crash reports via Sentry. Both are configured to avoid storing personally identifying content.

Account data and the records you enter sit in a managed Supabase (PostgreSQL) project. Files (receipts, contracts) sit in Supabase Storage with row-level security: only the owner’s account can read them. The site itself is hosted on Vercel.

• We do not connect to your bank. There is no “link an account” flow and never will be.
• We do not sell or share your data with marketers or data brokers.
• We do not run tenant credit checks or background screening.
• We do not pre-fill purchase prices from public records, even when we could. Financial fields are yours to type.

You can access, correct or delete your data at any time:

• Access & correct: sign in and edit any property or expense directly. Export is available on request.
• Delete everything: visit Account → Delete account. This removes your auth record, every property, expense, rental and document you have added, and every file in your storage folders. We do not retain a copy.
• Withdraw consent or complain: email privacy@remehub.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete the account, removal is immediate. Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics may persist in our analytics tooling (PostHog) for up to 12 months.

We use a small set of cookies: an authentication cookie issued by Supabase, and a preference cookie that remembers your selected display currency (AED, USD, GBP, INR or EUR). No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking.

We will update this page when something material changes about how we handle data. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
